Although this motor technology isn't new to passenger vehicles, the rapid development of the electric vehicle industry over the past decade has brought new opportunities. The compact size, lightweight design and high efficiency of axial flux motors have gradually gained industry attention. This year, many domestic and foreign manufacturers, such as Wolong Electric, JEETC Motor, Broad-Ocean Motor and Xiaomi Auto, have increased their R&D efforts in passenger vehicle axial flux motors.
